Oh yes! He is looking hardcore, cool, and handsome a the same time. You balanced those traits in subtle quantities this time. He is fat with plenty of overhang, but he seems to be the tough kind o fat. His huge tail provides a balance in design while adding extra huggability. His chin also gives tha 'tough fat' look while adding maturity. I also like the look of those thick, bushy eyebrows.
My favourite part is his haircut. You showed that slicked-back look in a way that meets hair with fur while looking very good. The ponytail part just accentuates those traits I mentioned.
