This is different from the art I usually draw, but it’s nice to step outside of that every once in a while.

This is a small scene focusing on Tyerux’s development as an incident who normally doesn’t feel anything beyond a hunger for the fear of others.

Nixan was harmed by a perpetrator outside the facility who happened to be intoxicated. This is not one of the workers, just a random drunk who happened to be there.

After experiencing something like that, it’s hard not to be left with an uneasy sense of fear. Especially for someone like Nixan. The idea of not being able to protect himself is something he feels he should be able to do but is that even right? No not really, Nixan is a very important incident who never needs to resort to violence it is WHY he has his own friends there to protect him.

Of course, Tyerux was the first one to notice something was off considering he CAN detect fear in a person and this kind of fear was way different from what he normally inflicts on others. Seeing Nixan like this forces him to confront a different kind of emotion.

A feeling of concern and empathy.

Tyerux stays close to him for as long as he wants him to. Watching, Guarding, and despite not knowing how to comfort anyone he knows how to ensure it never happens again.
