His father was an outcast of the Seawing tribe, his mother a wandering Nightwing assassin who found him lost at the edge of the Icewing territory. She would sneak out to meet him whenever she could, then eventually Akari was hatched, but the Nightwings wouldn't accept him, so he was sent to live with his father, but when he arrived to his father's hidden cave, the Icewings had found his father and killed him... So he lived alone, wandering the borders of the Icewing territory, picking off any Icewings unlucky enough to stumble into his sights.
