Year of the Horse officially begins today!
As early as Jan. 1st people were already submitting their drawings of Brian Windancer from Zootopia 2 to represent the transition. It was certainly more than justified; since he was also with Gary to symbolize going from Year of the Snake to Year of the Horse.
But today is officially when the Year of the Horse begins! And although I do plan on drawing Brian Windancer as well; I decided to draw another horse character to mark the occasion as the new monthly project begins.
Zootopia 2 will soon be leaving theaters while driving away with dump truck full of money. A new anthro movie came out recently called GOAT. While it probably won't share the same success as Zootopia 2 it seems to be doing quite well so far. And it should because I have seen it and it is a great movie!
With a great opposition for our main hero Will to overcome. The steel stallion Mane Attraction. One tough hombre to overcome.
His diss song 'Goat Tears' still hasn't left my head. Hence why I have him holding a cup with the words 'Goat Tears' on it and a crude drawing of Will Harris.
Mane Attraction is more or less the main villain of the movie. But only in a sense he's arrogant and really rough on the courts. Otherwise he doesn't do anything underhanded like cheating. I like the movie gives Will a chance to prove himself against an unstoppable and intimidating force like Mane with Mane being a legitimate challenge.
I highly recommend seeing GOAT. If you liked Zootopia 2 and movies like Space Jam you will probably like this movie as well!!
Now you think the next character must surely be Brian Windancer....except March is also the final season of Beastars.
We'll get to that Mare Mayor eventually though believe me. ;D
