Very impressive comic page and artwork, though I've got to ask: If pushing the summoner into the portals pulls the demons back into their world, what would have happened to the demons if the summoner had been killed?

As explained in the previous pages, killing him would have severed his link with the demons that they'd been free to spread everywhere.

Fantastic! I'm a little surprised I guessed right on the previous page, but then our heroes here didn't seem to have any other option. Like how even without eyes the demons still give this look of 'Aawww man, I just got here!'.

Does make me a tiny bit worried the second the demons felt that pull some of them might have grabbed hold of nearby mortals to take with them. But hopefully not.

Now lets just hope our heroes can avoid getting pulled in also, and that the portal does shut once they're all gone and nothing even worse tries clawing its way through.

It's obvious from that last panel that this portal also brought in many of the imps, but Lily, something of her demeanor reminds me more of the current Norbak instead of his initial before being unbound.

Handy means of closing a portal. I wish all magic worked like that. Pity the benevolent demons will be joining them. Screwmlins...if ever there was a species that deserved hate...and that's saying something

And what is a benevolent demon?

I'm not sure that they are benevolent but they are essentially the lowest demons on the totem pole. They were basically summoned so that when the demons of deceit aren't able to play with The mortals they have something to past their time with

There are creatures that stand in the light and commit horrible atrocities in the name of justice. A Demon that can stand unscathed in the light.
What's to say their aren't creatures born in the shadows that do the opposite? Light and Dark are two parts of a coin as are good and evil and sometimes that line betwixt the two is thinner than most think. And yes, the Imp lilly didn't do anything of major benevolence. She did assist. And there are benevolent imps in that world.

Screwmlins day to day: "oh another beautiful day to summon demons into the world, nothing wrong with that!"

Fun fact: screwmlins cannot grasp the idea that anything they've done is bad and are genuinely confused whenever their victims fight back.

Which is why I find them tiring, instead of hating them. They cannot comprehend that what they do is bad, therefore they cannot learn to be better. They are BELOW hatred, lower than vermin, they are much closer to mold in a bathroom; they don't belong anywhere that people are, and need to be eradicated whenever found.

That's the right idea.

Guess the moral is to always tie yourself to something sturdy before chanting near a spell circle.
