Son to the illustrious Dragon Emperor, Jiroh had lived a privileged life, one that would make anyone envious. In truth, however, there was distain from the secretive nature that came with the position. Though his father had great sway over the political rulings of his region, such was exclusively done from behind the curtains to the point in which his father's existence is recounted only in stories of legend. His father's sway bringing great order to the provinces and ensuring the growth of his nation for his unnaturally long life. Jiroh, being caught up within the backgrounds of his nation's development, never did quite get the chance to mingle with the general populous. From his birth he was raised in a life of pampered bliss, any desire fulfilled at a moment's notice. Even with such prestigious livelihood, a desire always did well up within himself for the mundane. He looked down upon the general populous, not with distain, but a craving for a normalcy. Between the rigorous training of both body and mind his thoughts swelled with what life could be like if he were never born a prince but as a commoner. However, even with these lingering thoughts, his focus was squarely set towards the needs of the many. If he could not live the life of a civilian, he would at least use his position and power to ensure that those under him were well protected from the horrors which linger out of the public's eye.
