Hahaha, I ran into this little beauty again today, and I remembered that I should probably show you guys. My art teacher kept her to submit her to contests and stuff, and I bumped into her back at the art building on my first day here. :)
This is the dinosaur I was sketching for in that sketch dump: Matilda.
Sorry about the quality, but I only had a cell phone, and I would probably feel sketch about posting the real thing anyway.
I'm really proud of this one. It was a college project, to make an organic object out of inorganic ones. You didn't have to make it functional, but my brain tried pretty hard- there was a lot of concept sketches and stuff. And I can barely draw straight lines or inorganic objects, so this was incredibly challenging.
FUN TIMES THOUGH

Well, it's a good thing it's cell phone photos, or you'd be able to see how warped some of the stuff looks. XD
I know for a fact there's something wonky with her right foot that's not really showing up here.
Hahaha, I'm happy you like it. :) And I did. I did really well in that class just by nature of my talent, but this was one of only a couple of pieces that I really put a lot of work into and felt the satisfaction of really accomplishing something with.
Like I said, my art teacher plans on submitting it to some shows later this year, and it's currently archived at the college. So he must like it. XD

I think you're paranoid and self-conscious. ; ) At least to a non-artsy person like myself, I do not notice anything wrong with it.
By the way, when is the next stream party? I haven't seen any advertised in journals. Well except for Dato's, who I'd have to find/download the correct program first and probably something else as well.
Yes he must. Even if there are technical problems as you claim, I think a larger part of art is the ideas incorporated into each piece.

Hahaha, usually. XD
As of right now, I really honestly have no idea. I generally do them pretty spontaneously anyway. But my roommate this year isn't as nocturnal as my previous one was, and I by association am not staying up as late, or actually getting much artwork done in general (aside from in-class doodles). But the year just started, so I still have to get into the swing of things.
And that's true.

Thanks so much! I don't do them very often since they're really hard for me. This one took a TON of background sketching, planning, and research.
I don't take requests, but I do have a place where people can ask for them. here

Oh, ok. I'll post my ideas on there. Though, it's really just for construct animals (fox, snake, baby dragon, raptor, and pteranodon) from my D&D game. Also, I know that this was a college project, but would you consider letting it go up for adoption? I could totally use her in my D&D game as my raptor construct.
