Normally, for that process, they shouldn't even be talking to her first, they should ask the guild for an interview and then if they approve they can ask Delilah and then schedule it through the guild (who may or may not demand to have a handler present). In a case like that she should've declined to comment and passed them off to the guild PR department.
If that sounds excessive I should point out that this was an optional element Delilah signed up for when joining the guild because doing so promised to have the guild PR and legal department handle such matters for her instead of leaving her on her own with all the consequences that entails.
That said it's of course not exactly a wise choice both for things like this and because it leaves the whole thing up to the guild and if, like Delilah, you're not a media darling then you can't expect much help from them.
