W1 - As I mentioned on the final page description, I had a terrible time choosing the first frame. For a good while I was very enthusiastic about the camera angle in this one. I like the idea of cutting Dr. Gravitas' nude bodies off *just* above the sensitive bits. The expressions look nice, and as usual the eyes exhibit the strange property of seeming to look towards the viewer rather than the off-screen subject (they were not turned, they remain pointed at Rederick). Even now, I rather like it, though I'm somewhat somewhat less enamored with the sculpt anatomy now. However, I ultimately rejected this particular shot in favor W2, which has the tweaked lighting.
W2 - You may have noticed this camera angle is slightly different from W1. Yes, they are not precisely the same. I went back and forth on whether I preferred the straight-on camera for its symmetry, or the angled one for its better depth cues. I never did end up running W1 (itself version 5) with the tweaked lighting as I ultimately rejected both shots because I wanted the body Dr. Gravitas speaks from at the top (and the sweet desk) to be more prominent in the shot. Well, his body may not be much more prominent in the final pic but at least the sweet desk is.
W3 - The final frame of the main page had this camera angle. However, somehow I forgot to put the coat on Dr. Gravitas' body on the left side there during his static mesh construction. I didn't even realize it until I was preparing for another shot render.
