For me it depends on the type and whether it suits the character. And yes, it HAS happened a few times already (to me.)

Have yet to have it happen I guess I'm not famous enough for the rules of the internet to apply yet lol.

A couple times I had to politely ask the artist to either edit or remove the piece (felt bad because it was well drawn) because it depicted something I'm not into/the character absolutely would not do. The artist was very professional about it and took it down, but I told them they can still draw my characters, just in scenarios the fit them and are also not TOO extreme (this one instance involved intense detailed gore.)

Yeah intense gore may be a bit much.

Hah. I applied this rule for my characters by myself 🤣 two times. And after i create a character for lewd content, but make this really rare by mood and for me.

I've applied it to a few of my characters a number of times over the years, just never publicly shown them, only to a couple close friends.

Unironically, I'd be willing to be the first to draw that NSFW fan art for you if you'd like lolz (Only if that's something you'd be ok and comfortable with of course 👍)

I don't remember if I mentioned it on previous sketch dump, but I love seeing the process of creation (if we consider it an art procreation... watching art being drawn could be considered porn? xD)

About intrusive thoughts, I bet every artist (or owner of OCs) probably have them from time to time... I bet that If you leave a proper reference material (I mean SFW ones would work, but with some description what said character likes/dislikes) I bet it would increase odds (as not weird people would feel welcomed to draw... and it would reduce risk of weird stuff being drawn... I mean seing „recently uploaded” on FurAffanity I would try to avoid monkey paw effect xP).

Perhaps in a very loose term definition of 'p0rn', sometimes i hear it applied to seeing the inner mechanisms of machinery especially complex ones in movement.

Yeah probably crosses a lot of artist's minds, eventually i had to cave some time ago and make some myself sporadically over the years haha. Tho I've never released those, at times I've almost been tempted to create a "Secret Alt" account for such things but then it'd probably ironically get better known than my mains and I'd fall into the trap of drawing more stuff like that for the attention rather than focusing on regular art and story driven comics...

It reminds me how I once sent a photo of internals of my retro PC and jokingly slapped 18+ in corner xD.

With those „second alts” I saw few times how they cannibalised main accounts (probably as they wquickly changed into YCHs and money talks). But well it just depends on what you want to draw. Technically you can also go „paid extra content” with those pictures (though probably it would lead to extra pressure when people pay for access).

Y'know what, I had a random idea this morning: I rarely draw anthro stuff and the only NSFW stuff was a jokingly drawn pixelart in which a single pixel made it „explicit”. I'll try drawing a sketch (probably either Clara or Sara and I'll send you a PM when it's done (with no „official guidelines” it's better not to guess too much xD).

Yeah i wouldn't want to become an NSFW focused artist knowing how easy it can be to fall into that track. I've watched a couple SFW artists I follow become NSFW dominant and I miss their SFW work. Depending on how "weird" it got sometimes I'll unwatch them. Now when they have Alt accounts it does make it a bit easier if they keep it all separate.
Haha yeah sometimes it only take a couple pixels to make it NSFW. I could literally take many of my nude drawings, add a small line to the crotch or a couple pink dots to the breast and Boom, NSFW of sorts.

Same story here (about following artists that focused too much on NSFW). Don't get me wrong: nicely drawn NSFW (unless it's something too weird) from time to time is ok, nice to see even, but it's not a reason I'm watching someone and also I unwatched few artists that started drawing stuff I actively disliked.
Yup, especially in pixelart (in 64x64 pixels changing more would probably look like a censor bar xD) and yea, some of your more „provocative” art couls easily be modified xD.

Tempting fate with the knowledge of those intrusive thoughts…

For real though, I’ve honestly wondered how long it would take for people to start making/posting “pr0n” of any of my characters if I ever got around to designing them or finishing their stories. And that’s even if anybody actually looks at that kind of stuff of mine. Eh, there might actually be a few who are interested, but still…

It took my first online (former) friend to actually make the first pr0n of my characters, they were only sent in private and others that have happened since then (which has only a couple over nearly a decade) the same. I have yet to come across one out in the wild.
