As for his character, Riki will always acting tough around people, always saying he wanted to be alone, always saying things like having a friend around is a pain, but for some reason, the MC becomes his "Lackey" before the accident, sadly, with all the memory gone after the accident, the MC can't remember this lizard anymore and this lizard take it very personally, Riki should be able to get over this if giving him sometimes but you can also just pick his route and reconnect with Riki all over again, to learn what did MC learned before he lost his memory, why he becomes his lackey and what's the end goal for Riki!
