• Biography: Doria is one of the many ½ Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day after Asfhaneh was born, making her part of the 3rd line of ½ Mermaids born into the family. Doria grew up wanting to be a defender of truth & justice like her father, though she decided to do so as an engineer. However, her problem was that she was not sure of what type she wanted to be. She got the idea during a thunderstorm one day, and upon learning Ariel is engineering with plasma, and Sonico was doing so with ice, Doria opted to complete the trifecta and pursue being one who works with the power of thunder itself. With each electrical storm that rolled in, Doria experimented with machines that could start up with a simple lightning strike, and her efforts quickly started bearing fruit. She set up one energy pack after another that could be empowered using solar, but one strike of lightning charged all the packs laid out instantly. She soon built devices that used these packs as a power source, and she even used one on a minigun she found once. Her tests all proved successful and she began to convert the thunderous energy into something she is able to fire off. In time, her techniques made her a fit for the Metroid universe, which was Doria’s goal all along. As a result, she has been fighting for peace in the Metroid universe and defending the peace of her home of Olympus when needed. As is to be expected from those in Juni’s family, Doria is a very friendly girl, inheriting only the best traits from her parents. Doria is selfless and playful, willing to put down whatever it is she’s doing to go play with her younger siblings. However, she has proven to be a big tease, like a number of her other sisters are, and she’s not afraid to show it. She loves to jam on the electric guitar and is insanely good about it. She even enjoys rainy days, especially thunderstorms. As a result, she is usually the go-to for comfort whenever her kid siblings express being scared of thunder. However, Doria does not like anything that does not conduct electricity, like rubber & mineral oil. Like a handful of her sisters, Doria is a proven absolute mudlark, and she will not hesitate to throw herself into a quicksand pit the moment she spots one. She also gets excited when signs of quicksand are discovered in the area she is exploring. The best at charging energy packs.
• Abilities: Being ½ Mermaid, Doria is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms while in either fresh or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Doria strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Doria starts the party as a Thunder Engineer. As her profession name implies, Doria builds & works with machines using the power of thunder, and this makes her essential for getting machines up & running if needed. As such, Doria is the one who handles anything related to thunder & lightning. Her energy packs are always susceptible to lightning strikes and this proves handy as her packs can provide power to machines in case of an emergency. Her method of harnessing electricity has also found its way into a number of her weapons as many of them harness electric Wave Beam technology along with beams of lightning in addition to high voltage missiles, bombs, and grenades. Because of this, all of her weapons do massive damage to mechanical enemies and are capable of paralyzing targets easily. However, unlike Ariel & Sonico, Doria has a strong preference for automatic firearms whether they are semi-auto, or full auto. As a result, she has no issue using machine guns, or submachine guns. In addition, she wields a beam saber of her own that is electrically charged for close combat. Finally, like her sisters Ariel & Sonico, Doria has built her own mecha to act as her ultimate weapon. o Arm Cannon: Like a good number of her sisters who wear power suits, Doria’s suit is equipped with an arm cannon on her right arm that can morph for battle. It is equipped with the typical Power, Ice, Wave, and Plasma Beams in addition to the Charge Beam & Missile Launcher. It comes armed with 250 missiles loaded. Doria has the Seeker Launcher installed, along with 50 Super Missiles.
o Lightning Gun: A handgun outfitted to fire off beams of lightning at enemies. The bolts hit hard & fast. She primarily uses an Auto Mag Pistol, but she has a Walther PPK and a Remington R51 as backups. The guns can fire off regular bullets to stack with the beam shots.
o Wave Gun: This handgun uses Wave Beam technology. The shots don’t fire as fast, nor do they hit as hard, but the shots can home in on targets, and the shots can be charged for greater damage. Her primary gun is an AMT Hardballer Longslide, but she has a Browning BDM and a Colt Desert Eagle as backups. All retain the usage of bullets.
o Lightning Rifle: A rifle designed to shoot powerful beams of lightning at enemies. She primarily uses an M1 Garand, but also carries a PTR Rifle, and she even uses an M16 Assault Rifle with an M203 Grenade Launcher attached. All retain the usage of bullets to stack with beam shots if need be.
o Wave Rifle: A rifle outfitted with Wave Beam technology. The shots from this gun don’t hit as hard, or fly as fast, but shots can home in on targets and be charged up to make up for this. o Lightning Submachine Gun: This submachine gun is able to fire off rapid bolts of lightning at high speed. She primarily uses a Franchi LF-57, though she also carries an H&K MP5 and a Sterling Submachine Gun as backups. All retain the usage of bullets.
o Wave Submachine Gun: A submachine gun outfitted with Wave Beam technology. The shots don’t hit as hard as the Lightning Submachine Guns, but they home in on targets to make up for this. Doria typically uses an M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun, though she also carries one of each Uzi variant, and an FN P90 as backups. They retain bullet usage to stack with the beam shots.

o Wave Machine Gun: This machine gun is outfitted with Wave Beam technology. Its shots are capable of homing in on targets to make up for slight sacrifice of power. She primarily uses a Knight’s Armament Company LAMG, though she also uses an M250 as a backup. They retain the usage of bullets.
o Thunder Minigun: An M134 Minigun restored and repurposed to fire off powerful lightning shots. It can still use regular bullets to stack with the lightning beams. It’s quite heavy, so Doria does not carry hers like Hydra, Lausanne, and Cordelia do on occasion. True to its name, it gives off thunderous rumbling while firing.
o Lightning Shotgun: Doria’s strongest firearm that fires off powerful piercing beams of lightning. She primarily uses a Benelli M4, but she also carries a Beretta 1301 and an H&K 512. She also owns an Atchisson AA-12 for full auto action. They still use shotshells, though Doria prefers firing slugs from these.
o Wave Shotgun: The strongest of Doria’s wave beam guns. The shots hit as hard as the lightning shotguns and retain the charge beam & homing properties, but they don’t pierce targets. Her primary gun here is a Remington 1100, though she also uses a Mossberg 930, and a Franchi LAW-12 as backups. She also owns an Atchisson AA-12 for full auto action. They retain shotshell usage to stack with beams if need be.
o Thunder Bazooka: This bazooka was enhanced using a thunder chip that enables it to fire off thunder missiles in addition to regular missiles. Her primary launcher is a M202A1 Flash that can not only paralyze targets, but also burn them if incendiary missiles are added in. It can fire off 4 missiles at a time. She also uses an M1A1 Bazooka for single shot purposes. They give off the sound of thunder every time they’re fired.
o Thunder Grenade Launcher: A more controlled launcher that fires off grenades instead of missiles. It too has a thunder chip installed that when active, turns all grenades inserts (Excluding chalk training rounds) into electrically charged projectiles. Doria primarily uses a Milkor USA M32A1, but she also uses a Hawk-MM1 as well. When fired, they make a thunderous rumbling, albeit not as loud as the bazookas do.
o Thunder Golem: Doria’s most powerful weapon. This mecha strongly resembles the Thunder Megazord, but is much smaller than the real thing, and certainly not as strong as her father’s Crimson Dragon (Which also resembles the zord in Super Mode). It brings the thunder with a powerful sword and an arm cannon capable of unleashing a powerful thunderous beam on all enemies in its path. While certainly powerful, it is not so useful in areas like swamps & marshes as it has little to no protection against mud.
o Thunder Saber: A beam saber emitting 1 million watts of electricity. One slash of this saber can easily cut apart the flimsiest Mechanoid and badly damage all others. When charged up, it fires a sword beam.
o Space Jump: This allows Doria to perform multiple spin jumps without stopping. Typically used if there is not enough room for her jet pack to be used.
o Screw Attack: This turns Doria into a wrecking ball of energy while spin jumping, destroying most enemies in one hit, and severely injuring others.
o Grapple Module: A module designed to hold grapple upgrades. The Grapple Swing & Grapple Voltage are present.
o Varia Shield: Prevents damage from acid & extreme heat.
o Hazard Shield: Prevents damage from additional environmental hazards like fuel gel & lava.
