I finally have a new ref! This has been in the works since April 2025, and it's finally here! Maid. was extremely accommodating down the the last super tiny detail. Her art style shines so much here! My Sona is just BRIMMING with personality!
A little lore for the new look:
He is 65 million+ years old, and recently started recounting in 1992. How he got here isn't important, him being here is.
Rock is a total sweetheart, and though he may be a tad bashful, he does love meeting people and getting to know them. Bonus points if he gets to make friends.
He has a Keyblade called "Spared no Expense." The blade and teeth are that of a T.Rex spine and Skull. The guard is amber, with the Keychain being the JP Logo. The Keyblade can do typical Keyblade things, just like in Kingdom Hearts, including World Traversal.
When it comes to battles Rock is more of a "leap in and adapt in the moment" type of fighter.
He has a P.E.T with a NetNavi occupying it. The Navi in question is a Velociraptor name Vel. Or V.E.L. Rock and Vel participate in Netbattling and Virus Busting on top of general hanging out.
The PET allows Rock to directly connect Vel into the internet via any port to search, upload, download, virus bust, activate apps/programs, etc

Vel himself I haven't ironed out all the details yet. However, he is inquisitive, more strategic than Rock, and usually thinks ahead a few steps before even making his first move in combat. That said, Vel can tend to be a bit more aggressive in combat, being a hunter and all.
Rock tends to make adult jokes more than Vel, but Vel will go along with said jokes every now and then.
Like Megaman.EXE and Lan, Vel will occasionally/constantly have to remind Rock of tasks that need completing. These tasks don't get done right away either due to Rock's negligence or procrastinating nature. Also ADHD.
Rock and Vel are great friends with each other, and tend to give the other a hard time here and there, as friends do :3
