Some dense fog we got the other day. Were places you could barely see 10ft in front of you

O.o?!
Ooooooo,,, fog AND lights?!
I'm a huge fan o' fog! (Even the original horror movie that has eet!). Mostly, I enjoy just being out in nature (Coast or woods), and seeing the sunlight cast its rays through it. Something about the way it moves/slithers through the air, little turbulence's making it swirl and curl that really fascinates me. The way sound is muted, colors,,, it's just so darn ethereal.
Wonderful piccie!
Thanks for sharing it!

Same actually. Once was driving through really dense for on a bridge with pretty much no other cars around. Was so surreal. So quiet and was as if the outside world no longer existed. Also walked out on a causeway in a bay and it was even more surreal. Just totally qiet and white in every direction
In CA's 'Central Valley' every year it has what's called 'Tule (Tulley? Fog.' It isn't fog so much as a solid WALL of white that you literally cannot see more'n 10' in front of you! Driving in it? smdh. I've had to pull over and sleep/camp on the side of the road (Choose an onramp/offramp if you can folks! Staying anywhere NEAR the open freeway/interstate lanes is asking to be un-alived!), till the next morning sun burns it away enough to drive sanely. THAT kind of fog, I am NOT a fan of!
Working in the Bay Area, usually at night (But sometimes it happens in the daytime, too), I've seen the fog crawling over the coastal hillsides, and THAT looks far too alike to what the horror movie "The Fog" was! Illuminated by the city lights, you can see the tendrils/fingers slithering, and it's creepy as hell!
Still, out in nature? I do like it. To a point. If it doesn't burn away and you're stuck in it for a long while? bleh Gets EVERYTHING damp/wet, and not even a good fire will really dry you/your things off!

And the hero emerges from the dark. Stepping beneath the orange halo of the street light he pulls his hoodie down once more. They thought they had killed him. Had destroyed him. They came close. But now their blood runs cold. In the smallest corner of their black hearts they know this isn't payback, it's retribution.
--- stopped there cause I didn't want go write an entire impromptu story, lol. I'll spare ya from that.
