Well, i must say i'm impressed. In the sense of "H*** f***! What happened to have the back like that?"
BUT, then i see the his hand caressing the back of his lover with such care. Maybe i'm tihinking what i would do myself. But i think he want to hug her but doesn't do it because he knows that wound still hurts.
The fact we don't see their faces makes the attetion to focus in the and and the back.
So..excellent piece of art! ;)

Thankies!! I really liked how this art turned out.
As for the scars, Ann got severely injured on a mission. She was talking notes when a big dangerous beast hit her from behind. She got a big wound as well as deeply injured back and leg. She had little chance to survive, but she managed to get all necessary care and medication, so she survived~
