Another project in my pile of failures in my career. An author asked me to participate in a comic about the Black Death in Europe. Aside the topic wasn't of interest to me, This was a challenge I'd never done before because I'd never made a comic. But back then I thought I could do it; later I realized it was a mistake. The comic was going to have a 10-page dossier as samples for publishers. The comic will have 80 pages if a publisher accept the project.

But in the end, the dossier was only 7 pages because i am a loser and I had doubts on every page. And although I can't show you all the pages, I can swear they're rubbish. Several months have passed, and still no publisher has said a word. I haven't heard from the author again either.

Besides the fact that I did this project for free, it was also an absolute waste of time, effort, and frustration. Another failure in my career.

This also makes me wonder: am i really ready for a creative job? I am living up to expectations? If i already get stucked in this, what can happens with others in the future? Maybe this is a signal that this is not my call. Maybe i am not made for this
