One of the batch of actual good sketches that I wanted to ink before posting. Now I just need to keep working on this pile of crap I have to do.
Not much of a back story here, lion dudes are tantalizing prey, I for one love em, one of the few species where I much prefer male to female and certainly not enough of em get eaten. So here we remedy that, pelican style. I am reminded that I should make an official pelican critter... maybe revisit the idea of a dire pelican :P Anyways I am quite happy with this, tried some new stuff that did not scale well sadly, as for the wings, I defer to Sammy's side of the sketch for all blame :P
