This is another example of inspiration coming from the most unexpected places - in this case, an obscure historical railway practice I read about ages ago. As now, most goods trains were legally required to display a red tail lamp on the last wagon, to signify that the train was complete. However, in the Miles Platting area of Manchester, legend has it that one particular trip working would have anything but a lamp attached to the rear for this same purpose - be it a bucket, a shunting pole, a lump of newspaper, or even a pink bra on one occasion!
I think you can see how I eventually came around to the idea shown here (via a failed attempt at building an idea around the pun of a tail lamp). I used Benny Cooper here because I felt that all the other men in the Stellar Typhoon's ranks would be far too gentlemanly to pull a stunt like this - at the very least, most of them would have the decency to ask before borrowing a bra from one of their lady friends!
