This takes place in a cutting-edge amusement park, so it starts to bleed into cyberpunk visually with all the neon.
It's a bit like how steampunk can share elements with dieselpunk, which can share elements with cyberpunk depending on where it is in technological development.
This game is set in the 90s, so late 20th century rather than some versions of dieselpunk that is more World War 1 in theme (Both dieselpunk still).
It's all a little subjective of course and if you came out feeling the game was more cyberpunk than dieselpunk, hehe, I would not argue with your definition. 🙂
