Thank you. I was thinking about shading it in, but then I figured if I were to colour it traditionally, i'd have to erase the shading, so I skipped it.
I have to stop shaving my fursona, though. xD Poor thing.

I LOVED watching those commercials of those things! I always wanted one too but then I never got the chance to get them. Now this picture is interesting. Such a creature as Icykat should have a background story of why she's part gargoyle.

Then this brings back the ollllllddd tv show Gargoyles! That was a neat show. :D

Hehe, Chia pets are pretty cool. And a little known fact: Chia, the plant that grows on it; Is actually an incredibly nutritious food. It's an ancient plant that was grown for it's seeds, because eating the seeds could fill your stomach and you could travel for long periods of time on the seeds alone (The seeds expand in your stomach to make you feel full, as well as deliver gobs of nutrients from a small seed.) Only nowadays because humans are crazy, we use the seeds to grow cute little pottery plants and don't bother harvesting the seeds at all. :P

But yeah.. I honestly don't know why she's part goyle, considering if my mum had a fursona she'd probably be a horse, and if My father were around and had a fursona, i'd imagine him as a lion. Don't even ask how IK came to be, haha. xD But I am the black sheep for a reason, I guess.

Gargoyles! I loved that show. One of the reasons I decided to make IK part gargoyle was because the show made me fall in love with the stone creatures.

I find them to be beautiful and bold. Speaking of gargoyles, there was a thing on the news here about a woman looking for one that was stolen ten years ago. It was a gift from her father to her mother before he passed away that year he got it. Well she found it but in rough condition, but they're fixing it for her. It was touching.

Yay for gargoyles. I wish they aired the show again, would be nice to recap on it.

That's such a cool story. And I agree! Regardless of their purpose, they are unique. Some can be creepy some can be haunting, but for the most part they are awesome and tend to be one of a kind.

I have a few hanging around my house. I have two plaster ones that aren't really all that special, but I once made an amazing find at an antique store years ago. They are bookends, carved out of wood with ceramic or clay tops, with little wooden borders around it. Hard to describe, but maybe i'll post up a picture of them someday. They aren't in perfect shape, some of the ceramic stuff has chipped away and the owner before me spray-painted them brown, but I really like them. They have character. :)

I think Gargoyles runs once a night on disney channel. Only problem is, it's at 1am, at least for me. And I can't afford to stay up till 1 just to see a half hour show. Bawww. ;;

I like to emphasize on the loose skin because she's part cat, and cats, underneath the fur, generally have the wrinkly wrinkles going on in certain spots on the body. I'm not sure if Gargoyles are wrinkly under all their stone, but ya never know. :P

I'm really glad you like this! I'm hoping to colour it up traditionally, but if I can't get it to look right then I might do it digitally.

I love sphinx cats! In fact if i had a few thousand dollars to burn, i'd buy one. xD I'm pretty sure they are related somehow to siamese, but don't quote me on that.
You never know! They could come to life or something. :P

And believe it or not, I used to do nothing BUT digital a few years ago. As far as colouring, I used to hate colouring traditionally because I was always scared I'd mess up. A lot of my old digital stuff is on my DA account still, I just never thought to transfer it to here. scraps, maybe? I dunno. I don't want to spam up here with all my old stuff, but there are a few pieces that I do like. What do you think I should do?

I'm going though something similar right now, with the digital bug in me. The thing is that I take hours to get all of the silly kinks out of the digitals, to where I don't want to look at it anymore when time comes for coloring. I'm slowly going back to traditional...

It sucks. It's like... i'm 99.9999999% done with my digital jellyhound adopts, but then at the same time, I think they look like crap. ;_; I never used to be this way with digital stuff, but now i rethink doing it at all unless they are little things, like icons.

I don't think i've submitted anything to my DA since christmas, to be honest ^^;
I stopped liking it there because it virus'd up my computer, and then when I submitted my gorillaz stylo car, all these people watched me because of it, and so now all my watchers there expect me to draw gorillaz-y stuff all the time.. I dunno. I should go back on there, submit some stuff, and see what happens..

I'll look through my gallery and see what's worth posting here. If anything it'll get thrown into my scraps for being so old I guess. :P
