Planet - The Core of the New World
The Core of the New World, which we will simplify here as ‘Core’, is a very powerful artefact. It is a concentrated amalgam of all the energy and raw materials needed to recreate a habitable world. A way of creating a ladder when you have your back against the wall, some would say.
If we were to respect the laws of physics, such an artefact would of course be impossible: containing so much matter and energy in an object of this size would be tantamount to creating a black hole. Therefore, in addition to the arcane methods used to condense it, there are also certain protections in place to prevent the Core from collapsing in on itself.
Nevertheless, the Core is not an independent artefact. In order for the new world to be habitable for the dominant species, it must merge with a living member of that species. A single life to save an entire population, allowing it to exile itself to new, fresh lands when the previous ones have nothing left to give.
A sad tale, yet one that is common in the history of mortal civilisations.

Seeing this feels quite inspiring, the fact that a core seems to be made to work as a human pregnancy makes me wonder if it was designed to be like that, or a property of what it is.
Given the lack of mention of cores in the past and from other sources, I imagine one is really rare and for any person to be it's vessel is akin to a sacred privilege...
I must admit, I admire such creation of a celestial body. Quite unique, and I imagine it would be more resilient than one created by nature and have unique properties as well.

Perhaps this existed in the past for other humanoid or simply mortal races, but has been lost. The current data available does not allow me to establish this clearly, but it remains a hypothesis. It is also possible that there were variations on a last resort solution: exile to an alternate dimension, condensation of consciousness into a virtual paradise on an electronic medium drifting in space, an ark with a portion of the population seeking a new place to live...
But no. It is a planet like any other, simply with four moons. Consciousness will gradually disappear over the centuries.
As for the consideration of this act, it all depends on the society in which a Core is used. Some may see it as something sacred, others as a reasonable but honourable necessity...

This is not exactly space, but let's assume that you are referring more generally to transformations related to celestial objects.
Obtaining a Core yourself may prove difficult. If you find one yourself, you are free to use it. However, make sure that the ideal conditions are in place to prevent your new shape from crushing an existing planet with creatures potentially living on or beneath its surface.

Space themed, perhaps. I should have known you'd be specific about definitions, it's probably incredibly important in your line of work (and also important to avoid becoming your work). But yes. Celestial objects are my jam. Planets. Moons. Stars... Black holes... I don't suppose you have any of those Cores lying around, do you? I'll try to keep away from existing worlds :3
Let us say that several pages are already glaring examples of misunderstandings that can lead to unexpected results for the subjects.
But indeed, particularly in the magic mainly used in this grimoire, arcane circles are syntheses of an essence, a concept. Shortening a ‘word’ or a definition amounts to distorting this synthesis, yielding results of lesser quality, unworkable or catastrophic depending on the case.
There is currently no such artefact available in the library. However, it should be possible to make a similar one or to create a variant which, instead of creating only one planet and a few satellites, could reproduce a Big Bang. Note that this option would require either the energy of a deity willing to lend its power to create another universe, or to create a universe within a universe, on a smaller ‘scale’.

If the content of this page brought you some form of emotional satisfaction, that's the main thing. You, and the other readers, of course.
As for the words, rest assured. Your attention is already... touching, to use your expression.
(I can sympathise with the struggle, it's becoming difficult for me too. But not the subject ^^")
