Actually it's been used before for graphical user interfaces. Those were usually done on computers without grayscales or colour. Especially the icons had such low resolution.

And nowadays Casio calculators use a higher resolution version of those.

Si si, et je viens juste de comprendre pourquoi.
Y'avait une itération de trop dans la boucle qui charge l'image, du coup wrap et écriture d'un 0x00 en bas :( Je suis mauvais.
