Say hello to
Travertine 's character, Cameron! (It/He, 7'2 Sturgeon)
This isn't actually the first drawing of Cam. Similar to the Tiko drawing, it was a smattering of sketches that Travertine ended up picking from that I initially did. That being said, I ended up overwhelmed due to the combination of working with her to develop Cameron visually while dealing with a wild perspective angle. Once again, I had bitten off more than I could chew. I much prefer interesting perspectives and poses for sketches. But when you don't actually have a proper base visual for a character outside of said sketches it can be a bit much. Thus, it ended up on the side, not entirely finished, for over 2 months now.
It still felt a bit much when I recently wanted to go back for another try, so we instead ended up working on a simple side-view drawing to get a feel for anatomy without any wonky perspective. Going the extra step, that drawing eventually became this! It'll at least be much easier to get back to that perspective drawing with this as a clear reference for Cam. Though I ought to do up a front view as well to make this a more proper reference.
Cameron will soon be popping up on Travertine's page as well, likely with some additional notes she wanted to make.
*EDIT* - It's now up! Here's Travertine's Post
Also, just in case: I was thinking originally of posting this as Mature, for artistic nudity. As far as I can tell after reading through the guidelines, this should be fine for General as it isn't detailed nudity. Let me know if it ought to be rated higher, though.

This was never going to be an easy design. One of the hardest, honestly. I'm still very impressed you chose to take it on! And I'm still so happy with the color and texture, not to mention the trial and error on those essential scutes!
It's fat fish friday... on a saturday!

Unfortunately, it's a Sunday for me. I should have waited... it was an amateur move on my part lol.
I still don't know why Cameron was the one I latched onto sketching. It was really difficult figuring out its head shape, that's for sure. And I'm glad the scutes came out the way they did! It was them that originally bested me with the first piece.
