All of the bishops eventually healed their wounds and formed a life within the cult; it took longer than expected for some, and others took to it like a duck to water. Kallamar was one of the first ones to accept the lamb as a leader and fall in love with a follower. Tragedy, the unicorn in charge of the healing bay, had a soft spot for Kallamar from the beginning (god knows why) and took in the old ocean deity under their wing.
Tragedy was quiet, patient, and a little bit weird. They were interested in how mortalhood affected the bishops and would ask permission to conduct experiments with their blood and remaining power. They somehow managed to ignite Kallamar's passion for medical research and the meaning/usefulness of flowers.
Their romance was rather straightforward. Tragedy didn't like talking much, and Kallamar was hard of hearing, so they taught Kallamar sign language and how to read lips, which made them closer over time. Kallamar was very talkative and would shower them with praise and questions about their research, which Tragedy responded to by nodding or shaking their head most of the time. Tragedy would instead give him tons of gifts, asking my lamb for special crystals or flowers for Kallamar, which Kallamar interpreted as "offerings to his greatness," as he pretended not to blush like crazy.
The best gift Tragedy gave to Kallamar was a unique dress, inspired by the gems in Anchodeep and his beautiful old temple, along with a bouquet of lilies of the valley. They got married a week after that, and my lamb proceeded to call out his child for "their terrible taste in men" for an entire month.
