Love is a tricky thing, as an aromantic person. I've always confused desire for closeness as Love, I rather like the idea of all the sappy, soft things romance songs are about, but I never feel them. I crave intimacy but truly it feels no different than a best friend or something like that. I could love someone who isn't aromantic, but I could never quite understand them. I feel alien. I feel like I'm not even human.
