This was a heart wrenching scene for me as I rarely take goodbyes well.
The dragons in Guild wars 2 had become such a focus and investment for me and with Aurene leaving, probably for good, and especially as the expansion was literally called End Of Dragons, I knew this was the time for me to leave as well. so not only was this the final scene of Aurene, but also the final scene for me from Guild wars 2
I love this game so much and have spent thousands of hours playing it, truly one of the best games of all times and certainly the pinnacle of the MMORPGs.
I’ve also shown my main character in this scene as well, Akarin, whom I have made many memories with and will always hold in my heart.
Also as a side note, its really funny but that grassy hill you sit on in the cutscene doesn’t even exist on the map, it was literally added in just for the cutscene to give you a nice place to sit, it is nowhere to be found in the actual map itself outside this one cutscene.
