Alpena Michigan Airport in February 1986 (?) for a Search and Rescue exercise. We stayed in barracks on the former Phelps Collins Air National Guard base and had breakfast at the Civil Air Patrol Station. Pilot/aircraft owners were still a thing. I worked the mission as public affairs officer and even went airborne for photos.
