Here we have our second part where Rainbow Dash is living the fat life. Oblivious what lurks around the corner as she'll finally understand what Sheng Ma means. Will it be too late? Yes.
Part 3 will be next week and the finale. Hope you enjoy.
The first few days of palace life were pretty sweet for Rainbow Dash. Time spent with the princesses was always nice. No pony in Equestria would turn down solo chats with either Luna or Celestia. Though Rainbow Dash found out that they had their own schedules. Understandable as one reigned over day and the other night.
It gave her new perspectives on palace life. What it really meant to be a princess as she often sat-in on their work. Not once did Rainbow Dash find it strange that she wasn’t allowed to leave the palace. “We cannot risk the luck fading from our vessel if you leave the perimeter.” Luna explained.
“Makes sense enough.” Rainbow Dash agreed. Her ego continuously was filled as was the rest of her body.
She had been avidly grazing all around the clock since the day she set hooves in the castle. Big banquets and smaller moments of snacking in between. It became so commonplace that Rainbow Dash couldn’t go ten full minutes without something in her muzzle. Oftentimes, something sugary and sweet.
“Mmhm, man they really know how to spoil a guest.” Rainbow Dash noted as she polished off another plate of apple fritters with a cool crisp jug of cider. Her blue body splayed out on the mattress, truly on cloud nine.
Although she wouldn’t complain to her hostesses, there was one issue that Rainbow Dash couldn’t ignore: boredom. Yes, hanging out with the princesses was neat. Those moments were sparse sadly. Reserved for when they were available around the castle. Rainbow Dash wasn’t like Rarity or Fluttershy who could entertain themselves indoors. She wanted to be out and about.
“Maybe that’ll help with this.” Rainbow Dash poked at a portly tummy with her hooves. Chunky limbs had graced her figure as well. And she swore there were some jiggly jowls on her face. “A future Wonderbolt like me can’t get too comfy. I’ll end up a marshmallow!” She hovered in the air for a moment before her wings stopped altogether.
“Whoa hey!” She shouted before plopping back on the bed with a thump. “What gives?” Flapping her wings didn’t get Rainbow Dash airborne. Something was wrong. “I can’t be that fat.”
A minute later, Celestia barged through the door. “What happened, dear? I heard a loud thump. You’re not hurt, are you?” Amazing that she could sense Rainbow Dash’s fall. Though the pegasus wondered again if she’d grown so big. Quickly dismissing such a thought.
“I can’t fly. My wings aren’t working.” She demonstrated to the pearly alicorn. Jumping in the air before falling again.
Rainbow Dash was saved from colliding with the floor by Celestia’s radiant aura. “I should have explained better. We asked you not to leave the palace grounds due to the Sheng Ma preparations.” Rainbow Dash nodded. “We have temporarily sealed your ability to fly. Luna and I are aware of how energetic you can be, my sweet holy pony. No pony wants to see you injured or strained before the big event.”
That made sense enough even if Rainbow Dash would’ve liked Celestia or Luna to tell her ahead of time. “I’ll have to make up for it when we’re done. Just you wait, I’ll break all the records of Sheng Ma before wowing everypony at the Academy!” Celestia smiled as her castle staff pushed in another dessert trolley for her.
Back to stuffing her face, it seemed. Rainbow Dash simply had to find other ways to entertain herself. Gobbling down ice cream by the pint while reading adventure books in the Daring Do series. She had the privacy to enjoy them without her friends discovering her love for reading. No way Rainbow Dash could be seen as a bookworm. No offense Twilight. She thought while munching on pie.
That at least helped to kill some hours of the day before big banquet dinners. Each one, including breakfast and lunch, were multi-course spreads. Enough for a party of the other ponies of the Mane Six. Yet Rainbow Dash never left a plate bare.
Not like the princesses would let her do so. “Please, enjoy this scrumptious vegetable lasagna. It has been layered with extra cheese and tomatoes for your liking.” Luna said, putting the whole tray before Rainbow Dash.
“How about some bread to go with it? Baguettes are so good with lovely smooth and creamy butter.” Celestia offered up loaves as long as her horn. Way too many carbs for any one pony.
But not for a pony like Rainbow Dash. “Mmhm keep it coming! All in the effort of being the biggest and best Sheng Ma in history!” She declared, muzzle in the pasta platter as the princesses exchanged a happy grin with one another. Nodding as they continued to serve their guest with gusto.
Only after meals like that did Rainbow Dash feel like she was on the verge of exploding. Stretched out belly that wobbled off her main body. “Ugh… my eyes were bigger than my stomach.” Too often those words left her ragged lips as she headed straight for bed.
Some pony attendants were nice enough to massage her belly. Most of the time, such rubs were overseen by the sisters. Their healing magic helped to speed up the digestion process which lulled Rainbow Dash to sleep in a matter of minutes.
It was in these dream realms that Rainbow Dash could enjoy some alone time with Princess Luna. “Pray tell, how are the amenities of the castle? Is there anything that can be improved upon?” She offered her dream guest a platter of pastries.
“I really shouldn’t…” Rainbow Dash thought about it. Was it impolite to refuse grand royalty? She knew her real world version was full. This dream version of Rainbow Dash could use some more.
So she ate as she’d been doing all this time. Snacking and chatting, commenting about all the ins and outs of the Sheng Ma lifestyle. Never having had the opportunity to be waited on this way. “Honestly, it was hard to adjust to at first.” She admitted while slurping up a jammy tart.
“You are the energetic Wonderbolt after all. It’s to be expected that lounging around isn’t your cup of tea.” Luna said as she poured another hot cup for her guest. “Still, we are enjoying your company. And we appreciate your vigor in wanting to be the best Sheng Ma we’ve ever had in Equestria’s history.”
Rainbow Dash smiled with pride. “I guess it's weird that I’ve never heard of it up till now. How come?” She asked, still eating tart, getting jam everywhere on her face.
“Well, it comes once every 12 years. On top of that, I only recently was unbanished from the moon. No doubt my sister was doing it on her own. With me here again, however, we’ll make it a custom every pony can look forward to.” She prattled on, overly enthused with the prospects to come. “Yes, I think you will set a trend. The likes of which Equestria has never seen!”
“I like the sound of that!”
“As do I. Now, don’t hold back. Dream snacks don’t leave you feeling full.” True. Rainbow Dash had been eating nonstop for hours it seemed. And yet she hadn’t felt the need to stop once.
The only thing that did bring all that snacking to a halt was the ringing of an alarm clock in the real world. Pulling her away from Luna and back to her bedroom. “Mmhmm… What a dream.” Rainbow Dash practically could taste the tarts on her tongue. Hungrier now than ever before.
She wasted no time getting to the dining room for that morning’s breakfast while the sisters prepared to switch roles for the day. Though Celestia couldn’t help but notice strawberry splotches across Rainbow Dash’s muzzle. “Oh my. Looks like someone got into the dream tarts.” She said to Luna.
“Of course. You think I’d let her waste precious hours without eating, sister?” Luna returned Celestia’s smirk as she nibbled her own modest portions. “I do have to wonder, however… How much longer until we can really go all out?”
Rare for Luna to be so pushy. Celestia couldn’t blame her; she’d missed the last eighty-three Sheng Ma tributes. Likely watching from the moon all the fun being had without her. “How about this? The moment she refuses to eat any more is when we strike.” A devious smile across both their faces as they looked back at Rainbow Dash. The pegasus grew porkier than ever before. Clueless what her final fate would be
From there, things had progressed as they had been for the past few days. Rainbow Dash going with the motions without a care in the world. Both princesses did their best to keep the veil up as long as they could. Not wanting her to think anything was wrong while hoping they could really let loose for Sheng Ma.
Their wish would finally come to pass by the week’s end. “Ugh…” Rainbow Dash collapsed on the dining room table.
“Is something wrong dearie? You haven’t finished your fudge cake.”
“And there is the richest of vanilla bean ice cream to accompany it.”
Hearing the sisters go on about food made Rainbow Dash’s face turn an odd shade of cyan. “I think I’ve had enough.” She belched out in frustration. “I can’t eat anymore… I can’t take it anymore…” Music to the princess’ ears as they leaned in closer.
“You’re not half full.”
“Yes, it’d be a waste to not appreciate all this cuisine.”
Rainbow Dash stood back up as she precariously waddled backwards. Trying to show the two just how ‘done’ she truly was. “Look at me. I’ve been eating so much my belly’s almost touching the ground!” By no means an exaggeration.
There was an awful lot of eye candy to take in when it came to Rainbow Dash. Yes, her stomach had grown tremendous. Stretched out into a wobbly blue sack of gelatin that squished against her legs. Causing her stance to bow out awkwardly as she stumbled around the castle these days. An impressive flank and rear wobbled around her backside, so thick that it lifted her tail. All of it topped off with a meaty neck layered with rings of blubber.
It wouldn’t be much longer now until that flab pushed her hooves off the ground. Having long since given up on her flying. Not like those fluttering wings had the strength to hoist Rainbow Dash around. Truly overstuffed and overfed as she hoped the princesses would understand. Assuming that this was all some misunderstanding or the two were a bit too eager to make this the best Sheng Ma in history. Never mind how much gusto Rainbow Dash had given in the beginning.
“Should I say something or you, Luna?”
“I’ll take the lead.” Luna said. The two began to circle their guest. An ominous air in the dining room as Rainbow Dash felt uneasy. “We told you how the chosen Sheng Ma acts as a sponge for the fortune we bestow upon them, yes? How they will harness this radiance across the land?”
“Y-Yeah…” Pieces were slowly coming together in Rainbow Dash’s head. Still not wanting to jump to conclusions but the final picture wasn’t looking all that good for her. Barely able to keep up with the princesses’ movement as her neck couldn’t move that well.
Celestia allowed Luna to keep going. Happy to let her sister take center stage for this Sheng Ma. “Well, naturally, we deduced the bigger the pony the more luck we can bestow upon them. It was a tradition started even before my banishment. And you, my sweet Rainbow Dash, are the first in a long time for me.” Luna smiled as it sent a shiver through Rainbow Dash’s spine.
That was what she feared hearing. “Listen, I can’t get any fatter! I’m big enough as it is!” Celestia laughed as a horn playfully prodded Rainbow Dash’s backside.
“My dear sweet girl, the last Sheng Ma was several times bigger. So much so I had to use a shrink spell on him when all was said and done.” Celestia explained while continuing to toy with that big flank. Nuzzling it as it wobbled against her face.
This all had to be a nightmare as Rainbow Dash recoiled. “But wait. I… My friends… I…” She truly was at a loss. Could the others even save her by this point? Did they even know what Sheng Ma truly entailed? I gotta get out of here! These two are crazy! Rainbow Dash galloped towards the dining room door…
… Or she would have if not for the hundreds of pounds of pony fat that hung off her frame. Said gallop was a lethargic stagger as the princesses watched. Enjoying the eye candy that Rainbow Dash had to offer. “You think she’ll collapse before reaching the door?” Celestia asked.
“I’m curious to see myself.” Luna tittered. Their magic opened the dining room hall door for Rainbow Dash. “Go on. If you can leave the castle without stopping, you’re free to leave.” Celestia snickered. Knowing full well such a thing wouldn’t happen.
That wouldn’t stop Rainbow Dash from trying. Each stomp of her hooves was purposeful. Forcing herself forward regardless of how much it ached. Her muscles slightly atrophied from days of doing nothing but eating. That’s why they wanted it! So many things made sense as she continued the long, arduous journey.
In reality, she could only make it to the outer hall before collapsing. Legs shuddered to stand but lacked the strength to heave her flab up. “No. Come on… Come on…” She told herself as hoof trots closed in on her.
Rainbow Dash found herself being whipped across the castle to her room. Tethered around her ankles bound her to the bed. An unnecessary tool seeing as how she was too big to escape on her own. Likely a bit of theatrics from the sisters while serving as a grim reminder to their guest that she was trapped.
“Let me go!” She whined, still struggling and fluttering to no avail. “I wanna go home.”
The two appeared before her with those deviant smiles. “We’ll send you back once the festival is finished and you’re filled with our fortunes.” Celestia explained. “In the meantime, we know you won’t eat of your own volition.”
“Of course I won’t!”
“Which is why we have this little toy at our disposal.” Luna lifted up what looked like a simple feedbag. Her radiant blue magic hovered it towards Rainbow Dash’s muzzle.
Despite everything, she still did her best to resist. “No. Keep that away from me!” Celestia helped out with her own spell. Holding Rainbow Dash’s head in place as the feedbag was securely fastened. Latched behind the pegasus’ head as she tasted a familiar, pleasing snack.
Zap apples? There wasn’t anything in the feedbag as her lips smacked. Teeth chewed on the treat as more came after. Rainbow Dash resisted. Not wanting to keep going but something compelled her to open her mouth. Eating and chewing and swallowing endless apples.
“Enjoying the treat?” Celestia asked. “This enchanted feedbag is a gift from Chrysalis. She makes quite good use of it too.” Rainbow Dash had no idea who that was. Only that the apples were replaced with thick jam. Slurping it down as she moaned. Eyes wide as Rainbow Dash wasn’t in control of her body.
“This little device will make you eat. Morning, noon, and night. Which is all good by us. You were behind where we hoped you’d be in your gains.” Luna had to be lying. No way she wasn’t big enough. And they couldn’t feed her like this all day, right?
They didn’t bother to stick around to watch the fun. They were busy princesses after all as they gave their greedy guest a final farewell. And with that, Rainbow Dash could do nothing else but eat…
And eat…
And eat!
Bored out of her mind and alone with her thoughts, panic set in. This had to be a bad dream of sorts. No way they’d make her grow fatter! Too late for that as Rainbow Dash felt herself lifting higher up into the air by the minute. All thanks to an overstuffed with all manner of sweets and treats.
MMHMM MMHMM MMM! Rainbow Dash cried out. Fat cheeks pressing into the feedbag. Part of her hoped that maybe her face would grow fat enough to force it off. How long until that? She wondered as she continued to feast.
Hours passed as the only way Rainbow Dash could tell was the shifting shadows of her room. No other guard came in to check on her. What was the point when she was fastened in place? A big blob such as herself didn’t need escorts either. Alone and perpetually stuffed as she wondered how much longer until the Sheng Ma festival.
Her ears perked up when the door opened. “How are we my hungry little Sheng Ma?” Celestia asked with a giggle.
The princess circled Rainbow Dash. Eyeing her all over with eagerness. Hooves mashed into the occasional roll of blue blubber as the endlessly fed pegasus let out a muffled moan. It was now, upon proper reflection, that Rainbow Dash realized all their giddiness up to now was in service of making her as fat as possible.
Would they have used the feedbag at some point? She couldn’t know or much less ask at this point. And Celestia wasn’t going to reveal much. Why would she? All the princess cared about was her Sheng Ma eating into enormity. Pushing herself beyond normal limits of any pony. “Yes, at this rate, you’ll surpass Big Mac in no time.”
Rainbow Dash had no clue what Celestia meant by that. Worried by what the future held for her. Wait a minute! She perked up as more angel food cake went down her thoat. Did Applejack?! Is that why?! So many thoughts swirled in her mind. Anger towards her supposed friend. What were they doing to help her? By now they have to have known.
“I know what you’re thinking.” Celestia fluttered up onto Rainbow Dash. Comfy on the big mound as she prattled on. “Why won’t my friends save me? Don’t they know by now?” She trotted on that blue bulk. Hooves sinking in before looking at Rainbow Dash upside down.
“Any attempt to interfere causes a bounceback effect. Specifically anypony who gets in the way can find themselves getting big and fat. Other times, the previous Sheng Ma would bear the brunt of the effect.”
Meaning Rainbow Dash would’ve been doomed the moment she accepted the role. Though she was voted for it by Applejack. Either way, her fate was sealed. Despite so much in one day, her eyelids drooped. Heavy and tired as Celestia looked outside.
“My, is that the time?” She fluttered to the door. “Have fun with Luna. She’s been looking forward to this.”
That was the last thing she remembered hearing before Rainbow Dash was fully asleep. Snoring and snoozing in a brief state of rest. A place where she could maybe find a sliver of peace in this new, maddening reality.
“Wake up my dear.” Luna said though it didn’t sound like her. A visage appeared in the darkness. A princess that looked like Luna but dressed as her Nightmare Moon pony-sona. “Do you think you’re free just because you’re asleep?”
“I mean…” Here, Rainbow Dash was thin. But the realm of dreams belonged to Luna. “Wait. Am I still eating right now when I’m asleep?”
Luna shook her head. “Not unless your mind thinks you’re eating. And we can fix that.” A trap door opened beneath Rainbow Dash. Causing her to plummet into a new void. She fell onto a chair that strapped her legs in place. An odd device around her muzzle that forced her to open up.
Lights came on as she shivered with fear. A conveyor belt filled with all manners of sweets lay before her. “Pwease! Nu!” She cried out but Luna wouldn’t listen.
The belt revved up. Robotic hands grabbed what they could to feed the Sheng Ma. Stuffing her relentlessly as the apparatus around Rainbow Dash’s face got to work. Forcing her to chew and chew. Each cake, pie, ice cream, and more tasted real.
A small portal opened up beside Rainbow Dash. Showing her flabby body in the real world. She saw her muzzled face chew, making the rhythm of her jaw in the nightmare realm. No matter how much she tried to resist, nothing could make her stop. Whines and neighs and whimpers were pointless.
“That’s it. Get nice and big.” Luna cackled. “My, how I’ve yearned for this sort of play.” She nuzzled up to Rainbow Dash’s face. “Eat by day. Eat by night. Eat and eat and eat!” Easy enough for her to do with how much there was in both the world of the waking and the dreaming.
Though Rainbow Dash shuddered. Around the clock force feeding. No way to stop the princesses. How much more?! I can’t! She thought, grimacing, wondering if anypony would come save her.
Little did she know that a rescue was being planned. One that would have to wait till the day of Sheng Ma. An operation that would rock Equestria for ages to come.
Part 3 will be next week and the finale. Hope you enjoy.
