Day 508 - February 24th, 2742

We got word from Pathfinder that the convoy is only a few days out from our location.

Lily and I found a hilly place with several good vantage points a few hours back so we returned to that and got a better read of the land.

Numerous vantage points on either side of the road. Only problem is that we won't have overhead protection if they bring along any drones.

Well, we gotta make do with what we have.

I'm taking the energy cannon, Lily is taking the EM rifle.

Plan is that she shoots the lead truck, then I land a blast from the cannon on whichever truck I can sense the wielder in. They are combat class, not covert so I should be able to detect them from a distance.

After that we thin out the herd, Lily and I use our enhanced speed to dart from one position to another, but we stagger our shots covering ourselves each time. So after my cannon blast, I relocate while Lily takes another turn to fire, then retreat and move. I follow up with shots on my own when they are after Lily, letting her move as well. Rinse and repeat.

And if we are quick enough, we should be able to take out the regular soldiers before the wielder regains their footing. Since I doubt even this energy cannon can kill them in one blow.

But when its just the three of us, we focus purely on the wielder. Giving them everything we have.
