I used actual black in this one! I never do that. I usually use blue or purple as my darkest color just cause I feel like it gives my art a bit more of a surreal quality. If you look at my work you know I really like super saturated colors. Not for everyone, it's just a preference. I fell in love with color when I was a sophomore in highschool and I think my colors just have gotten more extreme. That being said, I was experimenting with brushes here, and I kinda wanted to capture that linoleum stamp look. Which to me means lots of solid blacks.
