It was that much of a struggle to getting used to the UI I assume? I can certainly get it, it's not very intuitive when you are from a illustrative and 2d animation background, through Blender has been improving a lot in making it friendlier for 2d artists. Keep it up and further emancipate yourself for the shackles of Adobie and other subscription base programmes...
