Halls greeted by a light long since absent,
Spilling across cold marble and stuffy air.
How long has it been, since Another has appeared,
How long since this chamber has had a guest?
It is no matter for the chamber,
Reaching thus and reshaping a piece of itself,
Into a form better welcoming for its mortal guest.
Spilling across cold marble and stuffy air.
How long has it been, since Another has appeared,
How long since this chamber has had a guest?
It is no matter for the chamber,
Reaching thus and reshaping a piece of itself,
Into a form better welcoming for its mortal guest.

Great work. I love the atmosphere of loneliness and surrealism. What was the inspiration behind this piece?

Thank you, and yeah if I recall, it was some art that, when I was skimming by, looked like it was a fleshy tendril descending down and forming into a body from the “head”, so from there just thought about some kind of amorphous being that would extend itself like that

Sounds neat. That kinda stuff is cool to me.
