well. after about year (why) now of agonising myself, i finally finished him. (sorry if the pictures are a little off - i had the ceiling fan preventing me from boiling to death which was blowing his hair a lot and one of them is a screenshot from a video so its a little blurry)
i think the head and tail are the parts i take most pride in with this. the head took the longest time (with it being the centrepiece of the suit, evidently) and the tail took the shortest, but i think they're both solid in both structure and appearance, especially considering this is my first attempt at making a fursuit. the paws on the other hand are more just sacks with small pillows stuffed into the ends, i went through so many iterations of the paws and wasted so much fabric on them that i just decided to go for something as simplistic as possible to spare my sanity, so im not exactly as proud with them as everything else; i only really finished them so i could get a sense of completion, and i'll probably just order a pair someone else has made or remake them with better materials at some other point. theres definitely a lot of methods i used for this suit i dont want to repeat whenever i decided to make another, but considering owning one of these things has been a dream for me since i was about 9, perhaps now that i have snuggleston under my belt that sort-of buzz to achieve such a goal will simmer a little and my next project will be both a little more precise and a little more efficient. i likely wont end up wearing him all that often, considering i dont go to many events and the temperature in my bedroom can be quite disagreeable, but it'll be nice to have him on hand for if i ever do attend a convention or meetup, and the practice i got from carving and sewing will likely stick with me well.
also he has a tongue but you cant see it well
i have also uploaded him to the fursuit database
