Finally got around to drawing some fanart for Zootropolis 2 👍 I haven't drawn Judy and Nick for about a decade but it was great to draw them again and Gary ❤️

And I haven't shared my thoughts on the film yet, but here they are :)

I agreed with my friend I saw it with at the cinema that while we didn't enjoy it as much as the first film, we still enjoyed it 😄

While I did think that they made Judy a bit TOO hardheaded at times (and throwing Nicks' snake fears in his face made me double take), I thought their reconciliation scene was very well done, and I really loved Gary and Ke Huy Quan's performance ❤️ Patrick Warburton's character was also one I enjoyed more than I was expecting and I loved his redemption and dilemma throughout the film :) And Officer Truffle too and most of the returning cast :) Even if I am intrigued if Bellwether will be back again 😱

I also appreciate the gentrification and forced eviction theme for the reptiles, and I also really enjoyed some of the new settings and the fact they kept the Lynxleys evil all the way through after so many Disney films of no villains until the last part, but I will be candid and admit I don't understand the thirst for Pawbert from the furry community - I found him to be a pathetic backstabbing loser personally 😅 Not to say the idea of a villain who is so insecure and desperate to fit in he'll backstab anyone isn't terrifying, but I'm more confused how much people in the fandom want him 😅 If people said they crush on GARY, I'd be 100% in agreement ❤️
