Another basic reference I thought I'd do, while I still have the lines alone of my next sketch.
There are many different styles or ways to draw furry characters. These are a couple basic rules I try to generally use to make Creature's legs look "right".
On the left side of the image, you see the ratio of his height demonstrated pretty plainly. From shoulder to paws, he's 40% torso and 60% legs, when standing upright with the legs bent in the digitigrade style.
On the right is a general idea I use to get his leg proportion right. Section 1 is slightly longer than section 2, which is slightly longer than section 3. Paw is paw. When the paw is included in section 3, it is the same length or marginally longer than section 2.
