It's a cold late-afternoon out in Uiaabaur, capital of the snowy world that is Könno. With Commander Lassai Beckir having a weekend off during this visit, he decides to take this time to meet up with one Helena Kranni, leader of a renowned mercenary company that happens to be one of the Odraani Pact's favored hired help...
Strolling together in the snowy streets and dressed in the proper thick coat, gloves and boots layered over their thermal suits, the two old acquaintances have a "casual" chat together to reminisce old times, totally not going into any tangent about their operations and whether there's some cut to be had mutually~
After all, Helena's smirk is a very genuine one for a seasoned ex-officer and merc and Lassai knows sometimes the strict regulations of the Pact needs circumvention~
Lassai: "Last time I heard of you was last year, diving and prowling on a far flung world, and I have it on good authority you're still the most in-demand merc in the system from all the resources you recovered."
Helena: "You flatter me, Commander. But that's just how I roll."
Lassai: "Oh, don't be coy. You remember how you graduated top of your academy class, right? Woudln't expect less!"
Helena: "Keep buttering me up, and you may "accidentally" hear more about my next operations, Commander~"
Lassai: "Hah. Never change, Helena. As chilly as this place be, you never fail to fire up your connections~"
