I apologize for the quality. No scanner, but I'm hoping to change that soon! I had terrific light too, but my digital camera decided to pretend it was dealing with candlelight.
Here are some redesigns I'm considering for my character for the 3D project. I'm deciding to use a different model for both face and body so he reads better as an otter, and as a character fitting for an animated film.
The main alterations are:
- Fleshy eyebrows instead of lines, which then lead onto a flatter head surface than before.
- A more curved muzzle instead of a straight one, that is also slightly more broad and starts off higher on the face.
-Neck is thicker and curved more, having his head come out a bit more forward.
-Nose tip also protrudes more.
-I'm considering have his chin push out more, it looks interesting, but also ages him a bunch, so I'll have to explore that some more.
And then for the body, well it's self explanatory - it is far less similar to human proportions. xD
Of course I'll be keeping his other design, this is just something more suitable for an animated film is all. =) I also need to work on his body a lot more, and see if I can find something better.
I hope you all like it, and comments/critiques are welcome. Enjoy! =D
