Quite the number of years to celebrate huh. Wasn't exactly around for all of them myself though, fairly certain I wasn't even a thought in the mind of my parents when Pokèmania boomed and the following, cosy generation was all shiny n' new. I was born later, during the era of lush tropical vibes and gallons of water, likely enough to make journalists in 2014 angry. Although... technically my sentience didn't properly kick in until knee deep into the following period, when the climate was colder and there was suddenly a gigantic mountain. Many early memories scaling that beast with a giant guide I purchased from Argos, crying at a game involving dungeons and gears, then growing angry at some guy with purple hair on school mornings cause he kept being mean to his chimp. Wonderful times...

Happy Pokèmon Day all and happy 30th anniversary to this juggernaut of a franchise. If only bozos could stop trying to mooch off it. THOSE OLD ASS TITLES AREN'T WORTH $80 - $200 ON EBAY!!!!


As for those lil' guys shown off today, frankly torn. Unlike the past generations, TWO of them found a way into my heart. Sorta muddies my transformation plans, although I might have a backup idea...
