Consuming green products won’t save the planet, because consuming is the problem. There are three Rs in saving the planet Reduce Reuse Recycle. Now, companies brag about recycled jeans or “shirt made out of 80% recycled plastic”, but when it comes to the product it’s not the best. What really helps in my opinion is high quality, good looking, and easily pair-able garments. Pieces that could be worn for years and won’t break or go out of fashion. So here are two who fit the description and one more that is eccentric


Cav empt
I have a couple T-shirts from them. They’re this “elevated street wear “ brand that uses embroidery, printing and stitching to creates a coherent design language that revolves around technology and surveillance in the digital age. Their acid graphics are bold but acceptable, plus them having a coherent design language, you could look eye catching without being try hard and cringe like those fashion mfs on TikTok .
I find their tees to be high quality and people on the internet swear that their jacket quality is always memorable
Their price range is 80$-300$. You can only buy them at their stores or on second hand websites. They have a website but they are usually out of stock, and it’s much cheaper when you buy second hand.

Kapital
The brand is like an elevated hippie style that was made by master craftsmen, worn by miners and farmers for years and stitched using techniques from all types of cultures. It’s an oddly coherent cluster fuck of a design language. Their boro jackets are seen as the holy grail of all fashion enthusiasts. They take pre distressing clothes to a whole new level.
Their price range is all over the place. From 100$ to 5000$, the prices are reasonable for the quality that you’re getting. You don’t have to get the 3000$ Virgin Mary boro jacket, you could buy this relatively lightly patched jeans for 200$. (You could even low ball them for a better lower price)

Honorable mention: Hamcus
a sci-fi themed brand that sells clothes that look like they were pulled right out of Star Wars or dune. They are of the highest quality, I have a pair of pants from them and I am baffled at the details they put in into their craft.
They are expensive but it’s mostly the new ones that are priced that way. Their stuff gets cheaper and cheaper the longer they are on the shelves, and they won’t stop dropping the price until they are sold out, so wait a couple months or years before buying just in case.
