Grounded (Flower)Gator Gait (By Shinkei-Shinto)
"H-Hey! Wait! D-don't close that door! How am I-"
"Oh g-gosh... I'm so low to the ground now, and... and everything is so different from down here...."

A fun follow-up by
Shinkei-Shinto to last year's "Fuck Yourself February" piece they did where Lus took on the form of their lovely Flowergator, Amarante (For more info about the species, again, you'll have to poke Shin). It was such a pretty form I wanted to bring it back around again, and I loved the idea of like... Lus finding herself so much lower and heavier and forced to see the world from a new, lower perspective by her own transformed body.
And gosh... the form looks just as gorgeous as it did before with the shine and the flowers and the little antlers nodding to Lus' original form, and the post-TF dialogue is great. I love the dynamic of Lus coming into Amarante's shop, Amarante pinning Lus down and TF'ing her into such a gorgeous-but-foreign form in the first part... then just pushing her back out onto The Street where everyone can see and just washing his claws of the matter.

What a pretty and kinda short flowergator! Never seen one with such beautiful antlers before. It’s almost like they were a reindeer in a previous life…
I imagine the “suddenly thrust into the post-TF world” shopping experience probably involves others smelling a flowery aroma before the shopper manages to finally climb up to eye-level on the counter using their six legs.

I suppose I'm a bit smaller than Amarante is, but I'm not that much short! ...by feral gator standards.
And I'm not sure how much climbing I'm doing with such a long, heavy body. I think I could do stairs, but I'm not sure the weight and shape is conducive to getting up on a counter...? Shin's characters can all lift their front up in a sort of taur-like posture, but I imagine that newly-TF'ed Lus would struggle with that, and her world is just confined to what's down low~ >.<

Oh that is cute! I didn't think about having to build up all that strength and coordination with a new frame, it must be so challenging without a proper adjustment period...
A down-to-earth perspective (l-literally, i-in this sense) sounds like a nice change of pace! Low-to-ground things are fun...
