Had a bit of burnout this later half of February 2026, but it's alright. It was well worth spending like 4 hours on drawing this Chaos Space Marine though, because the result is just so ominously pretty.

This Chaos Space Marine is called the Gnawing Brute, a member of the Corpus Brethren Chaos Space Marine warband, I've been putting together an army of Corpus Brethren models since the start of 2026. You might notice that he's not exactly the same as he appears in the 9th edition Chaos Space Marine codex, and that's because I only had a regular Chaos Space Marine kit at hand, and decided to use whatever I could in the kit to make him as close as possible to how he appears in the codex.

Overall I think this is a very faithful and fun rendition of the Gnawing Brute, especially with the background, which is the Corpus Brethren homeworld of Oliensis, a giant organic demonic planet that might just have come from another universe. It's a pretty haunting background that really makes the Chaos Gods proud.
