A while ago I had this idea of a fishing game that was " carnivores meets reel fishing" where you catch ancient fish with modern upgradable gear.

I used krita for the pixel art and gbstudio for the game engine. I eventually stopped the project due to hardware limits and decided to shift my focus to the comic stories that I have a more clear vision for, which I don't regret.

I really enjoyed working on pixel art and the creative restrictions of 4 values and a certain number of repeatable 8x8 tiles. I'd love to return to this process sometime.
