Okay fine, I'll explain c':

So, as per my previous Elden Ring related upload, this is inspired by something that happened in that playthrough too. To recap, I've been playing an archer build, so bows, great bows and crossbows, maybe throwing jars too for fun once in a while, mostly holy water so I can say "I bless you my child!" as I toss them at death birds, because I'm stupid c':

It's a playthrough with Silvara, who plays uh, whatever she wants really. Started out lots of parrying, and then when we started the DLC, it was fancy DLC swords

So we got to Rellana and started the fight, and we got our asses handed to us several times, it's a tough boss! The seamless coop mod also gives her a whole bunch more health and whatnot, so definitely rough!
After the initial couple failures, I started bringing in defensive incantations, ones to boost magic and fire resistance, since she does both of those damage types.
It helped, a little, but not much.

Eventually, before yet another attempt, I announced that this time, I was bringing in my "secret weapon" and would unleash it if need be, very cryptically.
So the battle started, and at this point we got a decent strategy, she distracted the boss, and I'd shoot her full of rot and poison bolts, before then swapping to my bone bow to do mad deeps (and by mad deeps, I mean average damage).

Unfortunately, Silvy died while the boss still had a fair chunk of health left, and started going for me. So obviously, I did the sensible thing and started panicking and running around the arena screaming for mercy, praying she'd leave me alone as I tried to sip my orange juice of healing.

But then, in a moment of genius, I remembered. I brought my secret weapon!
So I shuffled through my item bar until I found it, the Stormhawk Deenh ashes. I rang the bell and said "SAVE ME BIRD", and proceeded to run away as the boss and Deenh started fighting each other.

Now I would love to say this had a happy ending, and my amazing strategy caused us to win, but alas, as stated earlier, my damage was.. Not great, and with the bosses scaling because of coop, it was an uphill battle. Deenh eventually fell, and I soon followed.

But this then caused the phrase "SAVE ME BIRD" to become a bit of inside joke during our play sessions, where I'd summon Deenh in panicking situations while saying it, hoping it would be my salvation :'D

We did also eventually beat Rellana, don't think we needed my secret weapon for the winning run, but you know, a dumb joke was born that day.

So that's what this is based on, only with Phyress taking the place of Deenh because Aspen and I thought it would be funny c':
