Celtic Kitsune has many wonderful stories posted, most involving foxes. One set of stories is about Paula, the high tech vulpine cyborg who dabbles in a bit of time travel, on the side. In this non-canon post, Paula has purchased an unregistered, illegal, and exceedingly dangerous second hand time machine through Intergalactic Ebay. This kind of time machine is impossible to trace by cybernetic technology, because it uses entirely different principles to function. That's nice for keeping the Time Police off her tail, but it's a bit tricky for a cybernetic entity like Paula to operate, and a navigational malfunction has stranded her on an alternate world called Avalon. No problem! Magic works on Avalon, and Paula has recruited a local metaphysics expert to help her find her way home. The expert is Sushi Fuego, the Fire Fox, volunteered for the job by his mother, the kitsune FlimFlame. Sushi is still not quite sure how this arrangement came to pass, except that alcohol may have been involved.
