"OH MY GOD! AGAIN?! NOOO WAY!!" cried Nina in distressed tone as she read the measuring tape that lay wrapped around her tail, it had indeed got larger much to her dismay. Nina was well aware that a snow leopardess' body changes with age and their environment which had in turn lead to her family being very resilent to any changes they faced be it environmental or industrial (strange enough so they're very adaptive as a species). "URGH!!! Why does it keep getting BIGGER!? I've tried massages, tail exercises and diets!" she exclaimed before dropping the measuring tape and sticking the end of her tail into her month in frustation. "Jeez...now I'm gonna to source another dress...my clients and audience are going to have a field-day with this...hah..." sighed Nina.
Nina took her tail out of her month and lifted it naturally above her head and stared at it intently running her hands down the fluffy tip all the way to the base that lay between her legs, she felt a gentle smile crawl across her face. "Heh he he...I swear it's even fluffier too...I wonder if what granny said was true." she smiled as her grandmothers voice echoed in her mind 'When you find happiness little snowball listen to your soul, it will let you know, there is no guess work despite what everyone says. It's up to you whether you want to listen to these changes and pursue to it or not.' "Aww...man...I think I know...urgh...it was only a friendly little get together the three of us had...Heh he he...I didn't think I'd take to having someone cuddle into my tail as much as he did. Yet Mari thought it was weird...hehehe...it was a fun week we had and my first male experience too." reflected Nina in a ginger tone as warmth built in her chest. "I hope we can met up again...I'd like that alot..." she spoke softly her eyes closed as she bathed in the afternoon glow of her apartment until a spark of inspiration hit her causing her eyes to shoot open. "I've got just the idea for a new piece! I gotta note this down real quick! Where's my pencil? Where's my Sax?!" she continued in an excited voice as she began to sound out the tune for a new piece of music.

I like to play on the stereotype of the perfect body (which everyone does even irl). So I like to put down that every individual has a part of them they'd want to change, be it because as they feel they're not as 'attractive' compared to others or due to community values etc. I feel this gives a more relatable feeling to a character but maybe it's because I've seen too much how people act in our society XD.
So in this case Nina thinks her large tail makes her appear less appealing as not every snep has a thick tail (again touching on societies image of the 'ideal female body' which is a load of you know what anyway lol).
