Eirvis.
"Hatched to a druid living deep in one of the few remaining forests in the modern world Eirvis was bathed in the magic of nature running through ley lines of the forest during her entire childhood, imbuing her with innate druidic powers even the druid could not muster. Although her attunement was natural it took years of mentorship from the druid for her to properly shape and control the flow of magic, a frustrating struggle as she'd not had to learn to commune with nature in order to tap into the ley lines which would have taught her patience. Unfortunately her mentorship was never fully completed as the druid had ventured out into a nearby city for supplies and never returned, leaving the young and directionless Eirvis alone in the forest for a century or more.
Eirvis continued to practice over the years, improving her abilities while also learning to commune with nature and store even more magical energy within her. But even though she grew in skill and power she could feel the ley lines weaken, and it wasn't until she stumbled into a logging camp that she realized it was the reduction in the natural world around her was the cause of the disturbance. Without anyone to tell her what to do or where to go as the world around her was hacked to pieces Eirvis stumbled her way towards a small village where her journey to integrate with society began. Through small acts of druidic prowess she caught the attention of a nearby mage's guild as they'd been sent to investigate why this village's harvest was so bountiful when everywhere else a plague wrought famine to the locals. Seeing as the miracle was not of demonic origin after witnessing Eirvis cleansing entire fields of plague, they invited her to study and teach at their guild so they could help bring stability to a hungry country.
Another century had passed and it became apparent the aging mages grew envious and skeptical of her as she seemed to not have aged a day since they found her. Sensing their growing greed to know her secrets, of which not even Eirvis knew of, Eirvis left her second home and all those she'd come to love and call her peers. Striking out once more into the unknown but better equipped to handle society Eirvis endeavored to never spend more than a century in each location to avoid garnering such suspicion and attention to her seemingly immortal lifespan. She'd seen the rise and fall of kingdoms, the plagues of dark ages, and the ever marching onward of technological progress which both harmed her connection to nature through deforestation and pollution and reinvigorated it as science and the magical community endeavored to restore and maintain nature.
Through all this her odyssey had yet to begin until passing by what she though to be a dilapidated market stand only to pique her interest when the sergal manning it head butted the stand in response to a kobold mage requesting to join. Not even needing to consult the change in the sergal's life energy to know they'd done a number on their skull Eirvis approached the stand and provided some minor aid. Hearing the story of the kobold mage and what the sergal wanted to do made her chuckle and offer to join as well. Besides this seemed to be a good group of individuals with which she could mentor as she once did and hopefully bring more life and harmony to a world ever changing."
