Marching into March, we’ve got a fun array of games to play for this month of Scratchpad, including a special birthday episode! (Entering March like a lion and/or leaving March like a lamb is not required, but totally up to you if you choose.)
We return to Sonic Racing Crossworlds and Sonic Rumble on Thursday, March 5th, our only Double Feature of the month, unless a decision to have another Double Feature for March gets added at the last minute.
From Sunday, March 8th to Tuesday, March 10th, to celebrate Mario Day on the third and final day of this game’s playthrough on this season’s Scratchpad, and to cheer out Mario’s name like in the commercial for this game from 1990, Super Mario Bros 3 gets the Scratchpad service.
Thursday, March 12th will be my final day at age 41. We’ll be spending it playing Pokemon Blue, continuing our journey through the now-30-year-old classic, working on earning the Inferno and Earth Badges (and maybe, completing the rest of the game), leveling up our Pokemon while I level up to Level 42!
Nuclear Cheetah returns on Monday, March 16th, but this time, the spotlight will be on Chaz’s reptile friend, Tony. We’ll help guide Tony through the places he’s assigned to be played through in another first time playthrough in this part of Nuclear Cheetah.
We’ll spend three days in Atlasia from Wednesday the 18th, through Friday the 20th with Brok The InvestiGator. Brok, Graff, Ott, and all the other stars of this point-and-click/beat-em-up fusion are looking forward to our return to this hit from Cowcat.
Sonic 2, the game that helped Sega and Sonic claim the video game throne, thanks to a planned global launch date, the debut of the most adorable sidekick ever, several improvements to help it capitalize on its first game, and other factors, is a game so awesome, we’ll be playing through it, not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES…one with Sonic solo, one with Tails solo, and one with the two together, on Sunday afternoon, March 22nd!
From Monday, March 23rd through Wednesday, March 25th, three 90’s classics, Aero the Acrobat, Ardy Lightfoot, and Rocket Knight Adventures, take the Scratchpad stage. If Spring still isn’t around by then, these stars will spring for us!
