Arrival at the Flower Kingdom.

We skip ahead a bit to when Bowser’s airship arrives at Prince Florian’s castle. Bowser, Jr, Kamek, and to everyone else’s surprise Dusty. The ship docks in an open grass field near the castle.

Bowser with Jr. riding him stretches off the ship and onto the ground. Kamek flies down on his broom. Dusty takes the normal way down once the stairs to get off are set up, so he’ll catch up later.

After taking a moment to process that he saw Bowser stretching with his own eyes Prince Florian greets them. “Ahem. Welcome to the Flower
Kingdom Lord Bowser.”

“Thank you for having us, again… Despite what happened last time.” Bowser says a bit awkwardly.

“As long as there isn’t a repeat of last time everything is fine.”

“Alright then. So, where’s this Nash guy at?” He says while stretching his neck to look around better.

“They’re not here yet and I don’t know when they will get here.”

“Oh?”

“Hopefully Nash will be here soon enough.” Bowser nods. “Until then how about we give you a proper tour of the castle.”

“Sounds like a plan to me.”

Prince Florian shows them around the castle for a while. Bowser is mostly comparing how it looks normally to how it did when he was combined with it. Jr. is completely uninterested. Kamek is actively engaged in the little tour. The tour comes to an early end as Prince Florian is notified that Nash will arrive soon.

They arrive at the front gate to see Dusty seemingly waiting for this Nash to arrive. Not noticing that he’s no longer alone, Bowser stretches an arm and taps him on the shoulder.

Dusty is startled by this and jumps. “AH!” He then clatters to the ground into a pile of bones. “Oh hey there everyone.” Dusty says still sounding startled.

“Sorry for startling you like that.” Prince Florian says.

“Were you waiting for Nash to show up here too?” Jr. asks.

Dusty becoming embarrassed now starts stammering and can’t get a clear word out.

It’s at this point that they hear a faint engine noise a look out to see someone approaching on what looks like a moped. As they swiftly but skillfully drive up along the path everyone sees a Black Yoshi wearing a pair of yellow sandals and a black shoulder bag with a wide yellow stripe down the front.

As they approach the gate, they hit the break and do a power slide as they come to a stop in front of everyone. (insert Akira reference here) “Hey there everyone! Sorry for showing up late. I had to stop for a bite to eat on the way here.”

“*sighs* At least you weren’t too late like before with other things.” Prince Florian says.

“Hey, I’m here now aren’t I!” Nash playfully says with a smirk. “Now let me park my- *gasps* Dusty!? What are you doing here!” They say excitedly.

“Well I um…”

“Did you really miss me that much that you came all the way out here to see me.” They say while holding up Dusty’s skull in their right hand. Really hamming it up.

“You two know each other?” Bowser asks.

“Yup we sure do!” Nash responds. “Any ways you can put yourself back together while I park my ride.” They place his skull back onto the pile of bones and drive off.

“I like them already!” Bowser says.

“Yeah! They’re super cool!” Jr. says excitedly.

Dusty reassembles and walks inside with everyone else and meets back up with Nash.

“So you’re the one who collected the Wonder Flowers for me then?” Bowser asks.

“Yes sir! I had a blast traveling across the diverse landscapes collecting them!”

“You did an excellent job collecting them, as thanks to you I have acquired my new rubbery powers from the elixir we made with them!” He extends his arm out to shake hands with Nash.

With glee they shake with both hands. Causing Bowser’s arm to move and wobble around.

“When I was asked to collect them for you I was practically fluttering in the air! Haha!”

“Oh are you one of my many adoring fans then~?”

“Guilty as charged!”

“We plan on exploring around the Flower Kingdon here and could use a guide to get around.” He says with a sly smile.

Nash’s golden yellow eyes practically start to sparkle with excitement. “I would absolutely love to!” Meanwhile in his head. “AAAHHH!!! I
can’t believe that Bowser himself is directly asking me to be his tour guide!”

“Haha! Sounds like it’s settled then. Tomorrow we set out for and adventure!”

“Yeah!” Nash and Jr. both cheer.

“You should totally come with us Dusty!” Nash says.

“Oh I shouldn’t. I’d just slow you down.”

“Oh come on! It’ll be like old times!”

“Uh…”

“So how do you two know each other?” Bowser asks.

“Oh, I found him in the town in Tostarena where I kind of took him along with me after meeting him in there.”

“Interesting.” Kamek says while adjusting his glasses.

“So, you want to do some adventuring again like before Dusty?” Nash asks him.

Dusty pulls his sombrero over his eyes to try and hide from everyone staring at him. Eventually he nods a quick nod yes.

“I knew that I could count on you.” They give him a hug.

Meanwhile Dusty is quietly thanking the fact that he can’t blush as he would be bright red from embarrassment right now.

“Sounds like it’s going to be the five of us then!” Bowser declares.

“Um… could I possibly stretch you for a moment please Bowser?” Nash asks a bit shyly.

“Hm… Sure! Why not.” He shrugs.

Nash gets close then reaches up and goes right for the face. Grabbing the right side of his face they quickly gets some distance between them. Really stretching out that part of his face.

“Wha!” He feels himself lean to his right as the elastic force in his stretch face pulls him.

“Wow! This is so cool~” They marvel at the stretched skin for a second. “I really made this happen for him, wow.” He says out loud to himself.

Bowser tugs on his face. “Oh! Sorry.” They let go of his face which quickly snaps back to its normal shape. Causing him to fall over.
“Oops!”

Jr. starts laughing at his dad which causes Bowser to chase after him. After the chaos settles they spend the day preparing for the adventure to begin tomorrow. I wonder where in the Flower Kingdom the adventure will begin for Rubber Bowser and co?
