I think this piece came from an emotional acceptance with boykisser, sprung on by seeing a video of a convention with a giant boykisser inflatable in the background. Take this piece as a peace offer, accepting that for the rest of my time in the fandom I will be seeing this thing and learning to come to terms with that and allow boykisser into my life. I wanted to contrast the online and cutesy pink imagery they are associated with with a natural scenery and nostalgic feeling.
