Danse, my favourite character from one of my favourite games!
This is actually practice for two things:
1: Shading/highlighting. I've never really done centre-of-the-face shading with two distinct light sources. I also decided to do purple-green (complementary) highlights as they stand out a lot, and it looks good!
2: Likeness. MUCH harder than aforementioned shading/highlights. I think my simplistic style makes characters look younger than they actually are... or maybe it's just a skill issue lol. Aside from Danse looking far too young, I feel like I did well. The outfit was a pain, with its complex design, and his eyes, as I couldn't decide whether they were brown or green. I also noticed he has a weird slit in his brow in the game, but not in any official art? I don't know if it's a visual glitch or what, but I like it, so I drew it anyway.
I suspect I'll be drawing this bloke heaps more, he's just REALLY cool (kinda jealous; wish I were as cool as him lol). Danse, you are my newest MUSE!
P.S For those curious, this is what he wears outside his power armour, and it's not seen until his personal quest "Blind Betrayal". Thought to mention it, since Danse only takes off the power armour once (as I remember)
Time: 8 hrs 23 mins (would've usually taken half the time, but I spent A LOT of time trying to capture Danses likeness. I've also been sick blegh)

Note 2: Because of my dysgraphia, I struggle a lot with clean/straight lines, so my line work is quite poor (I usually draw sketches because of this). I try my best, though!
